Beowulf: Lord of the Bros, Better than the original?

Beowulf: Lord of the Bros 4/5 stars
I had the pleasure of viewing the NC state production of Beowulf, Lord of the Bros this weekend.  After a full viewing I can confirm that it was better than the book.  I have never related to Beowulf as strongly as I did until I viewed the play.  I'm sure this is exactly what the author of Beowulf originally intended.  I also enjoyed all the jewish stuff popping up all over the play, and am sure to bring the dreidel drinking game with me to whatever creepy frat I join once I leave this hell hole of a school.
This is my second freebie for a blogpost in a row.  Do I feel bad? No.  My goal is to finesse my way into having a freebie for every blogpost all year.
Side Note: After the play I saw the person who played Beowulf walking around the student center in a ramen noodle hoodie.  #college

  1. I wish that everyone could've witnessed Andrew's excitement when they started playing spin the dreidel/dreidel pong/I think they were just making stuff up? I think that the only reason you liked the play is because it mentioned Judaism which is like your favorite topic to bring up so hooray! I'm glad you had a great time and got something out of whatever they were trying to portray because I got nothing. #bro
