Netflix and Murder?

When Macbeth isn't killing fools, and plotting murder, he is riding from land to land.  But there are some long roads out there, and to pass the time he watched a lot of Netflix.  Here are a few of his top choices.
SPOILER ALERT, LITERALLY SO MANY SORRY.

If you aren't watching Game of Thrones yet, what are you doing?  Game of Thrones is a story of medieval horrors.  Backstabbing, murder, ghosts, dragons, NUDITY, it's top tier television.  But Macbeth doesn't watch it for entertainment, he watches it for inspiration.  He is particularly attached to Geoffrey Lannister, who took power for himself and did anything possible to maintain his rule.  Spoiler alert, being king doesn't end well for either of them.
Who doesn't love Breaking Bad?  It follows the story of the once good man, who somehow through fate has the opportunity to take power for himself.  But once he gets the power, he becomes corrupted by it.  Remind you of someone you know (cough, Macbeth, cough).  Both characters also have a steamy wife who will inevitably help their husbands in their goal of world domination. Macbeth watches because of all the twists, and loves whenever Heisenberg betrays a friend. But Spoiler Alert, Heisenburg dies at the end too.  I think I'm starting to see a pattern.
Another show that everyone loves.  A story of a cop, who after unfortunate circumstances, ends up in control of a large group of people.  But once he gains control of those people he slowly loses his mind.  This was mostly due to his wife dying, and his son being a one-eyed idiot.  Macbeth doesn't watch for the Zombies, he watches for the Drama.  The only problem for Macbeth is that he just send's murderers to do his bidding.  Negan and Rick do it themselves.
Macbeth obviously took his entire plan from the first two seasons of House of Cards, but that's none of my business.  Let me draw up some similarities.  Man is appointed to position slightly lower than preferable, House Whip/ Thane.  So he plots with his wive on how to take power from the greatest monarch or president.  However,  once they gain the power, the world starts crumbling around them.  Macbeth and Lady Macbeth usually snuggle up to this with a bottle of wine, and think about new ways to gain power.  But Macbeth has seen the most recent season and SPOILER ALERT he knows that Claire becomes president.   That's not really Macbeth's style, he thinks that he should start leaving her out of the loop.
All of Macbeth's friends have recommended The Office to him, but he just hasn't gotten around to it.  Humor really just isn't his cup of tea but the Porter really likes it.  Macbeth is more of a tragic hero kind of guy.  Too bad, maybe if Macbeth had some humor in his life he wouldn't have gone crazy and his wife wouldn't have bit the dust.  This is just a fun recommendation as extra please don't grade me too hard. :)
